Confession: I Love to Travel.
I, and probably you, love to travel. I'll go anywhere in the world as long as I'm learning something new, tasting something interesting, or making a new connection with someone.
In college, I wasn't financially able to study abroad or take spring or summer trips. Yes, I was bitter. But that bitterness turned productive when I promised myself at 21 that I'd spend my life traveling. We all make decisions with money. Some of us want huge closets, others want nice, new cars. (some just want it all ;-) ) Me, I set aside a big chunk of money every month for my travel fund. I'm also fortunate to be in a relationship with a man who equally enjoys to travel.
Half the fun for me is the planning. There's a true thrill when I score a great deal or discover a new travel resource. Below, I'll keep a running list of my favorite travel planning sites as well as new finds. Hopefully, these will help you, too.
